Integrate Your Existing WhatsApp Business Account

Integrate your online store with 30+ different service providers that you may need to run your shipping business smoothly. 


You can follow the steps below to integrate with WhatsApp business


* Before these steps, user must have a meta business account, a WhatsApp app linked to that business account and developer account linked to the business account with needed permissions.


- Navigate to the "Home" tab from the sidebar and then "Integrations"  >> " Other Integrations"  >> "Integrations"


Then choose WhatsApp business 



Now for the connection steps: 


1- Head to https://developers.facebook.com and log in. 



2- Click on My Apps in the top right corner. 



3- Select your app among all the apps you have, click on that, you will be redirected to the dashboard of your app. 



4- On the menu on the left side of the website, click on Whatsapp. 


5- In the drop down menu below Whatsapp, click on API Setup 



6- You will see the access token here, below is a field called "From", select your number there 



7- Below your number you will see Phone number ID and Whatsapp Business Account ID 


8- Then you can choose "Next Step



9- You then can insert the "WhatsApp Business ID" and "WhatsApp User Access Token"


10- You need to verify the connection and go to "Next step" 


- Once you had added the "WhatsApp Business ID" and "WhatsApp User Access Token".

2- A message will appear on the top right corner to determine if the connection is successful.

3- Then, you go and click on  "Next step" 



- You need to add the required information and set it as " Active " - " Import Exiting Templates " - " Use as default " if you would like that option.


Enabling " Import Exiting Templates " will import your previously approved WhatsApp templates into OTO as approved templates.


- Lastly, click on Save.




Once the connection has been done successfully, you have to set the settings, and add a new template messages and then trigger them from WhatsApp. 


- Navigate to the "Settings" tab from the sidebar and then "Setup"  >> " WhatsApp"



- Click on "WhatsApp Settings" and then "Add WhatsApp Settings



You need to add the required info :

- Name 

- Message Type 

- Connection Name

- Template Name

- Language - Brands, if desired 

- Status

Finally, you have to click on Save. 


- Next, click on  "WhatsApp Templates" and then "Add WhatsApp Templates



You need to add the required info :

- Template Name 

- Connection Name

- Category

- Language

- Body Content

Then, you need to click on Save. 


And voila, you are done!
