Feature Overview:
The "Synchronize Order" feature in OTO allows users to update the status of an order by syncing it with the connected eCommerce platforms or marketplaces. This feature ensures that any missed or delayed updates from external systems are captured and reflected in the OTO platform for better order management. It is specifically designed for orders in the Pending Orders tab.

How to Use the Feature


Step-by-Step Instructions

Prerequisites:

  • You must have appropriate permissions to manage orders.

  • The order must be in the Pending Orders tab for synchronization.

Steps to Synchronize an Order:

  1. Navigate to the Shipments Section:

    • Go to the Shipments tab on the sidebar.

    • Ensure the order you want to synchronize is in the Pending Orders tab.

  2. Select the Order:

    • Locate the specific order you want to synchronize.

    • Select the checkbox next to the relevant order.

  3. Access the "Orders" Menu:

    • Click the Orders dropdown menu above the shipment list.

    • Select Synchronize Order from the dropdown options.

  4. Fill in Synchronization Details:

    • In the pop-up modal, copy and paste the Order ID.

    • Select the appropriate Sales Channel from the dropdown.

  5. Confirm Synchronization:

    • Click the Synchronize button to begin syncing the order.

  6. Review Status:

    • After synchronization, the order's status will be updated automatically if changes were made on the external platform.
