OTO provides extensive automated communication ways to reach your end customers. 

You can use OTO to send automated SMSs for several events in an automated way. 


These SMS types are as follows:


  • Address verification: Allows you to get the exact address of your client on the map through a branded link with your logo right after checkout.

  • Tracking: You can send once the order is dispatched automated branded with your logo tracking link that shows details of the shipment to your end customer

  • Undelivered Attempt: In case your courier cannot find the end customer at home and deliver the package you can send a SMS to your customer to get his feedback about the failed delivery. the 

  • Feedback: Once your order is delivered you can send an SMS to get your customer rating on the shopping experience. This will help you to identify issues and fix them without losing your customers. 

  • Return Request: Makes it easier for your customers to submit a return request

  • Delivery OTP: The one-time password provided to the driver by the customer to verify and confirm a delivery.


Follow the below steps to activate your SMS service provider, and enable the required SMS type with a few clicks:


1. From your Home page, navigate to "Other Integrations" tab and select your preferred SMS service provider. Note that you will need to purchase SMS package from them


2. Fill in your credentials that are provided by the service provider


3. Go to "Settings" page and navigate to "SMS" tab.

4. Click on "Add SMS Settings" button and fill in the fields.


>> Important Note: When the customer clicks on the link added to the message, for example, to track the shipment or for other purposes, based on the message type you've selected, they will be redirected to a webpage with the necessary details. You can customize the information on that page from the "Customizable Pages" tab.

5. After all the fields are filled and the setting is done, you can send a test message by choosing the desired setting and click on Tools then “send test SMS”.
