Driver assignment method (OTO Flex)

You can manage your fleet with OTO easily. Task assignments to drivers are made continuously as demand unfolds with time of day. This process can be automated with OTO. You can select the method you want to use to assign drivers to tasks from the General Settings menu. OTO provides four options for the assignment method:

Nearest Driver: Selects the nearest driver from the pickup location.

Broadcast method: Sends a notification to all drivers who can deliver the order and let the drivers chose.

Least Task: Selects the driver with the least number of tasks. OTO counts each uncompleted delivery currently assigned to a driver and chooses the one with the least workload.

Manual: Lets you choose the driver to assign.

In order to choose between these options just go to the Settings icon and click "General Settings".

Scroll down to the OTO FLEX submenu and choose one of them. Then click the Save button.
